(IANA) – “Considering the under cultivation area of wheat and barley, Iran’s production status was good and it’s anticipated that we will not need to import this commodity,” said the minister of agriculture.
“Although lack of rainfall has ruined some of non-irrigated farmlands, the trend is upward and by now, the produced volume of this commodity is over 600 thousand tons in the province Khuzestan and will surely reach one million tons,” added Mohammad Reza Eskandari.\
