(IANA) – “imports are for market balance,” said the deputy Minister of agricultural jihad.
“Production of agricultural commodities’ in the country is enough for domestic needs, except for some special commodities in special times,” added Dr. Peiman Falsafi.
“Ministry of commerce reviews the domestic needs and imports them and the rules allow them to do so,” he said.
“Ministry of Agricultural Jihad believes that the imports should have proper tariffs according to their belonging sector and should be effective in increasing productivity,” he continued.\
