(IANA) – “We have not precise statistics about the honey production volume, yet, but we are sure that the production volume has had an increase by 10 to 15 and we have a long way to reach our full potentials,” said the managing director of honeybee growers’ union of Iran.
“Honey harvest of some provinces whom bees were infected with CCD has been 6 to 12 Kilograms,” added Effat Reisi Sarhadi.
Honeybee growers are not eligible to be covered with the social security insurance
“Our honeybee growers have others jobs, too, but they are not covered with social security insurance,” said the managing director of the honeybee growers’ union.
“We hope that the social security organization will proceed to insure the honeybee growers as soon as possible,” mentioned Reisi Sarhadi.\
